Salves are a combination of beeswax, carrier oils, and essential oils. Salves provide healing, soothing, and protective effects on the skin and are usually used in specific areas.

Things to Remember When Using Essential Oils

Essential oils are unlikely to cause skin irritation when diluted properly. If the oil has been oxidized (left with the cap off for long periods of time) it is more likely to cause skin irritation. Check out this dilution chart for diluting essential oils properly. 

If you are pregnant, nursing, or on medications, we recommend you to talk to your doctor before adding essential oils to your life.
