Orange Grove Exfoliating Goat Milk Soap Recipe

Soap, soap, soap… There are so many options available in the market! For natural soap bases alone, there are organic oils, shea and cocoa butter, glycerin, Aloe Vera, and more. One soap base that’s getting some traction nowadays is Goat Milk, and we’re sharing a recipe with it today!

We love winter and everything it has to offer, but dry, flaky skin? No, thanks. Contrary to popular belief, it is not enough to only moisturize to get rid of dry skin. First, it is important to exfoliate! Now, don’t go rushing to get an exfoliating soap because doing it wrong or using the wrong product may just worsen your skin’s condition. Instead, try this Orange Grove Exfoliating Soap.

Infused with Dried Orange Slices and Goat’s Milk, which are both natural exfoliants, this all-natural soap will get rid of your dry skin and provide moisture and nourishment to protect your skin from the cold weather.

What I Love About This Orange Grove Exfoliating Soap Recipe

Unlike common exfoliating soaps that are harsh for my skin and actually slightly painful to use, I like how this soap very gently washes away dead skin and reveals my smooth skin underneath.

Goat’s Milk Soap Base

Goat’s Milk is an all-natural, toxin-free soap base alternative that is perfect for dry skin caused by the winter cold. Fresh goat milk has wonderful organic properties that help balance your skin’s health. Plus, it produces a delicate creamy lather!

Cedarwood Essential Oil

The calming warm, woody aroma of Cedarwood Essential Oil neutralizes the whole scent of this all-natural soap. Cedarwood Oil is often used in natural skincare because of its soothing, skin-cleansing, and balancing properties. With this, you’ll surely have youthful and healthy skin.

Bergamot Essential Oil

Of course, Bergamot Essential Oil gives a sweet, citrus smell like orange peels. Aside from its savory fruity aroma, Bergamot Essential Oil will improve your skin’s appearance, texture, and health.

You can also use Orange Essential Oil instead of Bergamot if you want to.

Dried Orange Slices

To even improve the natural exfoliating effect of this soap, we added dried orange slices. Orange peels have higher Vitamin C content than the pulp itself. They also contain fruit acids that serve as natural exfoliants. These make the sweet peels perfect to achieve brighter, more beautiful skin.
