Perhaps you’ve already heard of oil pulling or oil swishing. It’s like using a regular mouthwash, but instead of the usual strong cool mint, you swish a gentle oil around your mouth. If you’re anything like me who’s sensitive to the strength of commercial mouthwashes, you’ll love this Oil Pull Mouth Rinse recipe.
Oil pulling originated in ancient India and has been practiced for thousands of years. Unlike your regular mouthwash, oil pulling not only improves oral health but overall health as well. Benefits from testimonies of those who have tried oil pulling include improved oral hygiene, better bowel movements, increased energy levels, better sleep, and a better sense of taste.
To add a twist to the usual oil pulling technique, we added some high-quality essential oils. Lemon and Camphor Essential Oils are elevating our oil pulling game!

Fractionated Coconut Oil
In oil pulling, it is best to use plant-based oils. But we specifically recommend using Fractionated Coconut Oil. While sesame and sunflower oils have wonderful bacteria-fighting benefits, Coconut Oil has the added benefit of lauric acid which is an antimicrobial agent that fights bacteria, viruses, and yeasts, making your mouth cleaner and healthier after every swish!
