What I Love About This Foot Soak Recipe
This recipe is the perfect way to relax after a long day. The essential oils help to calm and soothe my tired muscles, and the warm water feels great on my skin. I always feel so refreshed and invigorated after a good foot soak.
What’s in This Epsom Salt Foot Soak Recipe?
Epsom Salt
Not only does Epsom salt feel luxurious, but it has some great benefits for your feet. Epsom salt helps to exfoliate dead skin cells and soften calluses. The magnesium in the salt will help to relax and soothe muscles, while the sulfates will help to detoxify the body.
Fractionated Coconut Oil
Some people say that adding fractionated coconut oil to your foot soak is the key. Coconut oil helps to moisturize your skin, and it will dilute the essential oils to make them safe for your skin.
Cajeput Essential Oil
Cajeput Essential Oil has cleansing and soothing properties that can help to improve the appearance of your feet while also easing muscles and supporting joint function. Plus, the refreshing aroma of Cajeput Essential Oil can help to center and energize your mind.
Relief Essential Oil Blend
Formulated with soothing essential oils, Relief Essential Oil Blend helps ease minor discomfort. Just apply topically as needed or breathe in its refreshing, herbaceous aroma.
Things to Remember When Using This Recipe
Always dilute an essential oil when using it on the skin. This essential oil recipe is unlikely to cause skin irritation when diluted properly. If the oil has oxidized (been left with the cap off for long periods of time,) it is more likely to cause skin irritation. Check out this dilution chart for diluting this essential oil properly.
