What’s in This Lip Crayon Recipe?

Coconut Oil

This nourishing ingredient provides a velvety texture that glides onto your lips effortlessly while also locking in moisture, leaving your lips feeling hydrated all day. Plus, the Coconut Oil also helps to give the balm a solid consistency, making it the perfect texture for a lip crayon.

Almond Oil

With the addition of Almond Oil, this recipe is sure to keep your lips feeling soft and supple no matter the conditions. It also provides the perfect balm recipe consistency for a smooth and effortless application.

Beeswax

This versatile ingredient helps keep your lip crayon or balm solid and easy to apply and offers a protective layer for your delicate lips. With its emollient, hydrating properties, Beeswax is a must-have ingredient for any DIY beauty enthusiast looking to create a nourishing and effective lip product.

Red Iron Oxide

Red Iron Oxide gives off a stunning, deep red hue. With its easy-to-use formula, a lip crayon infused with red iron oxide is the perfect way to achieve a bold and beautiful look with minimal effort.

Mineral Makeup Base

Not all lip crayons are created equal. For an ultra-smooth application that will last all day, you’ll want to choose a recipe that includes a mineral makeup base. This ingredient not only helps your lip crayon glide on like butter, but it also ensures that the color stays put without smudging or fading. Plus, because mineral makeup is gentle and non-irritating, a mineral-based lip crayon is perfect for anyone with sensitive skin.

Sage Essential Oil

Sage Essential Oil provides an invigorating scent that has the power to both energize and calm you. With its refreshing aroma and balancing qualities, Sage Essential Oil is a must-have for any homemade lip crayon recipe.

Marjoram Essential Oil

If you’re looking to add a touch of relaxation and calmness to your lip crayon recipe, look no further than Marjoram Essential Oil. This powerful oil adds a delightful scent to your lip balm while promoting rest and helping you center your thoughts.
