What Are Sugar Scrub Soap Bars?
Sugar scrub soap, also known as exfoliating body scrub bars, is a type of soap that contains sugar granules. Unlike traditional soap, sugar scrub soap bars are made with soap, natural carrier oils, essential oils, and sugar.
What Do Exfoliating Body Scrub Bars Do?
Exfoliating body scrub bars are a fantastic way to pamper your skin! Sugar scrub soaps are a luxurious blend of soap and sugar that offer gentle exfoliation and skin nourishment. Like sugar scrubs, sugar scrub soaps help remove dead skin cells, leaving you feeling soft, smooth, and refreshed. Not only do they deliver results, but they also smell divine, thanks to the essential oils used in them. So, go treat yourself and experience the perks of sugar scrub soaps!
How Often Should I Exfoliate?
Exfoliating is essential to any skincare routine – it helps remove any dead skin and leaves you with a healthy, glowing complexion. But how often should you exfoliate? That depends on your skin type – if you have sensitive skin, it’s best to exfoliate no more than once a week and use a gentle sugar scrub soap on your skin. If you have acne-prone or normal to oily skin, exfoliate no more than two times a week. Remember, moderation is essential in exfoliation – the goal is smooth and healthy skin, not irritated and inflamed!

It comes from a combination of four distinctive oils—Bergamot Essential Oil, Sweet Orange Essential Oil, Amyris Essential Oil, and Ylang Ylang Essential Oil—giving off a sweet, deep, romantic aroma.
Granulated Sugar
The sugar in this recipe provides moderate exfoliation that buffs off dead skin and buildup on your body. Plus, sugar is all-natural, making it a safe and easy way to get glowing skin naturally. If you have extra sensitive skin or want this sugar scrub soap to offer mild exfoliation (such as for the face), you can use a coffee grinder to grind your sugar into finer particles! Substituting granulated sugar for brown sugar or oatmeal would also suit a gentler exfoliation option.
