Hair Growth Serum Recipe for Long Healthy Hair

People around me always say that I make BOLD decisions when it comes to my hair. I have tried various colors and styles. Three years ago, I decided to do a pixie cut and I loved it.. until I missed the flexibility of having long hair. To help my hair grow, I tried various solutions available in the market.

Unfortunately, these commercial hair growth products, even the expensive ones, are filled with toxic chemicals. So to those who have zero patience in growing their hair like me, try this natural hair growth serum recipe instead.

This home remedy is super easy to make with only two ingredients that are all-natural and wonderful for maintaining hair growth and health.

Castor Oil

Aside from being a carrier oil for this recipe, castor oil can stand alone and has countless benefits for your hair. It contains ricinoleic acid that helps moisturize and maintain a healthy scalp which is essential in growing hair and treating hair loss. In one online article, it is said that “using castor oil once a month can spur growth three to five times the normal rate1. Vitamin E and fatty acids in castor oil also help strengthen strands and condition hair adding extra shine.

Beauty Within Essential Oil Blend

Beauty Within Essential Oil Blend is made up of Myrrh, Frankincense, Rosemary, and Lavender Essential Oils. Rosemary and Lavender Essential Oils are both known to be amazing for hair. This blend will help prevent hair loss and stimulate hair growth making it just perfect for this recipe.

Things to Remember When Using This Hair Serum

If the oil has been oxidized (left with the cap off for long periods of time) it is more likely to cause skin irritation. Check out this dilution chart for diluting this essential oil properly.

We don’t recommend you use the essential oil blend in this recipe if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, feel free to omit the essential oil – you’ll still get great results.
