Let’s dive into what makes this blend special and how you can make your own wax melts in just a few simple steps.
What’s in This Recipe: The Ingredients Behind the Bliss

Beeswax
Beeswax provides structure and stability to the wax melts. It has excellent scent retention, meaning it holds onto the essential oils well and slowly releases their aroma over time. It also ensures the melts are firm and don’t become too soft when stored or used.
Coconut Oil (Solid)
Coconut oil helps soften the beeswax, allowing the wax melt to melt evenly at a lower temperature. It ensures a smoother texture and helps evenly distribute the essential oils throughout the wax. This combination creates the ideal consistency—not too soft, not too hard.
Timber Essential Oil
Timber adds a cozy, grounding base note to the fragrance blend. It evokes feelings of being in a forest or mountain cabin—perfect for creating a serene, comforting environment in your home.
Bergamot Essential Oil
Bergamot brings a fresh, energizing layer to the wax melt blend. It balances the warmth of Timber and the spice of Cassia with a light, cheerful citrus note that elevates the entire scent experience.
Cassia Essential Oil
Cassia adds a comforting spice that rounds out the fragrance. It’s similar to cinnamon but a bit sweeter and deeper, giving the wax melts a warm, inviting finish perfect for cozy evenings.
Simply Earth Round Silicone Mold
This mold perfectly fits the quantity of the recipe and makes it easy to pop out the finished melts once hardened. You can also use any silicone mold you have on hand.

Notes
- Tip from Katie: This recipe perfectly fills the round Simply Earth mold, but feel free to use any mold you have available. You may notice that this recipe has a slightly higher dilution rate than our usual recipes, but don’t worry—at 6.5%, it’s still within the standard range for essential oil and fragrance use in wax melts. This ensures your candle has a stronger, more lasting fragrance while remaining safe for your home.
