This lovely candle isn’t just a light; it’s an olfactory journey to lazy summer days at a lemonade stand.

In this guide, we’ll walk you through making a Lemonade Stand Jar Candle, adding a sunny touch of nostalgia to any room.

What’s in This Jar Candle Recipe

DIY Candle Kit

Our DIY Candle Kit makes crafting candles a breeze, even for beginners! This kit has natural wax for easy melting in the microwave and a pre-tabbed wick for even candle burning.

Wick Centering Tool

The Wick Centering Tool helps keep your wick at the candle’s center as the wax sets. This helps create an even burn, ensuring your candle burns efficiently and without the wick drifting to one side. Use this tool to prevent tunneling and prolong the delightful scent of your Lemonade Stand Candle, keeping your space filled with refreshing aromas.

Lemon Eucalyptus Essential Oil

The star ingredient of the Lemonade Stand Jar Candle is Lemon Eucalyptus Essential Oil. This oil is renowned for its balsamic and fresh aroma, perfect for evoking memories of enjoying a tall glass of lemonade on a sunny day. Lemon Eucalyptus Oil not only smells great but also naturally deodorizes, cleansing the air and removing odors.

Cassia Essential Oil

The addition of Cassia Essential Oil brings a spicy and warm aroma to your Lemonade Stand Jar Candle. Known for its uplifting and comforting scent, Cassia essential oil contrasts the bright, citrusy notes of lemon and orange.

Orange Essential Oil

The Orange Essential Oil adds a delightfully sweet and citrusy aroma to your Lemonade Stand Candle. Its vibrant fragrance perfectly complements the zesty notes of lemon eucalyptus and the warm spice of cassia, creating a harmonious and refreshing scent profile. Beyond its aromatic appeal, Orange Essential Oil is also known for its calming properties, helping to promote rest and relaxation. This makes your candle an olfactory treat and a soothing presence, ideal for unwinding after a busy day

1 oz Jar 🛒 or other Candle Vessel

For this project, you’ll need a 1 oz jar, and we recommend using high-quality amber glass jars. These jars add a touch of elegance to your finished product and provide practical benefits such as UV protection, which helps preserve the integrity of your essential oils. The screw-on lid is perfect if you want to gift your candle, ensuring the fragrance remains fresh until it’s ready to be enjoyed.

However, feel free to use any candle vessel that suits your taste or that you have on hand—just make sure it’s safe for candle making. Using a proper, heat-resistant container will ensure your candle burns safely and evenly, allowing you to bask in the delightful, sunny aromas without any worries.

Get Creative!

Customizing your candle is a fantastic way to add a personal touch and make it uniquely yours! Select a unique, heat-resistant container like vintage teacups, mason jars, or small terracotta pots. Embellish your jar with ribbons, twine, or lace around the rim for a rustic look, or use glass paint and stickers for elegant patterns. Decorate the wax before it sets by sprinkling biodegradable glitter or adding dried flowers and herbs like lavender buds or rose petals, but avoid overloading to prevent fire hazards. Customize the scent by experimenting with essential oil blends, ensuring you follow safe dilution guidelines. You can also add candle dyes in various shades to match your decor or create a layered effect. By experimenting with these creative ideas, you can craft a candle that is both beautiful and safe to use.
