Things to Remember When Using this Recipe
Always dilute an essential oil when using it on the skin. This essential oil recipe is unlikely to cause skin irritation when diluted properly. Ingredients
- 📦 FROM SIMPLY EARTH
2 1/2 Tbsp (1.27 oz) Natural Solubilizer
1 1/2 Tbsp (0.8oz) Castile Soap
300 drops (1 bottle) Defender Blend*
3/4 tsp (0.13oz) Geogard ECT Preservative
3/4 tsp ( 0.13oz) Citric Acid
16oz Spray Bottle

1 2/3 cups (13.05oz) distilled water
Directions
- In a small pitcher, stir to combine Natural Solublizer, Castile Soap, Defender Blend, and Geogard ECT Preservative.
- Add the water and stir.
- Add the citric acid and stir until dissolved.
- Pour the mixture into a spray bottle.

- 300 drops might sound like a lot, but it results in about a 3% dilution—making it safe and effective for cleaning. If you’d like to conserve essential oil, you can reduce it to a 1% dilution (100 drops) while maintaining excellent cleaning power. I chose the 3% dilution for an extra boost because it fills the room with a fresh, inviting aroma!
