This essential oil is also known for its immune-boosting properties, making it a delightful and functional addition to your beach day room spray.

Peppermint (Supreme) Essential Oil

Peppermint (Supreme) Essential Oil boasts a refreshing and robust minty aroma that instantly awakens the senses. Known for supporting respiratory function, this essential oil provides a cooling and invigorating sensation that enhances mental clarity and focus.

Coriander Essential Oil

Coriander Essential Oil brings a delightful, sweet, herbaceous aroma to this beach day room spray. Its scent is known for its calming and soothing properties, making it an exceptional choice for creating a serene environment.

Timber Essential Oil Blend

Timber Essential Oil Blend offers a rich and complex scent profile that perfectly complements the beach day theme. This blend’s aroma is woody with delightful notes of vanilla, providing a grounding and comforting backdrop to the more vibrant citrus and minty scents in the mix.

Distilled Water

Distilled Water is a crucial ingredient in this room spray recipe, serving as the base that helps disperse the essential oils evenly. Unlike regular tap water, distilled water is free from impurities and minerals, ensuring a pure, clean mixture that won’t affect the oils’ integrity. By using distilled water, you keep the aroma true to its natural essence, allowing the invigorating scents of the beach to fill your home without any interference.

Geogard ECT Preservative (optional)

Geogard ECT is an eco-friendly, broad-spectrum preservative that helps extend the shelf life of your Beach Day Essential Oil Room Spray. By incorporating Geogard ECT into your recipe, you can ensure that your refreshing spray remains effective and safe for an extended period. This optional ingredient is derived from natural sources and is designed to inhibit the growth of bacteria, yeast, and mold, providing you with peace of mind.

tips from katie

  • Because it contains water, this recipe will go bad in 2-6 weeks. We kept it small so it could be used within its shelf life or easily remade when it expires. If you want this recipe to last longer, use Simply Earth’s Geogard ECT Preservative.
  • To make a master blend of this essential oil combination, add 63 drops of Blood Orange and 12 drops each of Peppermint, Coriander, and Timber Essential Oils to a 5 mL bottle. Shake to mix.

How to Use Beach Day Room Spray

Simply shake the bottle before each use to ensure the essential oils are properly mixed with the water. To naturally refresh a room, hold the spray bottle approximately 10-12 inches away from the target area and spray a fine mist. Prioritize spraying on fabrics like curtains, linens, or the sofa, as these materials can absorb the scent and help the aroma linger longer in the air.

Enjoy the refreshing, invigorating essence of a beach day in your home.
