Let’s talk about something we all deal with—knots, frizz, and dry, sad ends.

We’ve all been there, spending way too much on fancy store-bought hair sprays that promise miracles but only leave our wallets crying and our hair looking… well, not so fabulous. But what if we told you there’s a way to ditch those overpriced, chemical-filled products and make your very own Leave-In Conditioner and Detangler Spray—right at home?
This recipe is a copy of the popular “It’s a 10” Miracle Leave-In Conditioner, a product known for its ability to detangle, moisturize, and add shine. Guess what? You can replicate all of that goodness with simple, natural ingredients that are easy to find! Our version uses natural ingredients like Argan Oil, Aloe Vera, and Rosemary Essential Oil, giving you the same soft, shiny hair without the harsh chemicals and high price tag.
What in This Leave-In Spray Recipe

Argan Oil
Known as “liquid gold” for a reason, Argan Oil is a powerhouse when it comes to moisturizing and adding shine. It helps to tame frizz and deeply hydrate your hair without weighing it down, leaving your locks looking silky smooth and healthy.
BTMS-50 Conditioning Emulsifier
This emulsifier does double duty by not only helping to combine oil and water-based ingredients but also providing conditioning benefits that leave your hair soft, smooth, and easy to manage.
Rosemary Essential Oil
This refreshing oil does more than just smell great. Rosemary Essential Oil is known for its stimulating properties, which can help promote a healthy scalp and hair growth. Plus, it balances the scalp, making it perfect for this leave-in spray.
Spearmint Essential Oil
For that extra refreshing lift, Spearmint Essential Oil adds an invigorating scent and helps to stimulate the scalp. It’s known for its cooling effect, making it a great choice for keeping your hair feeling fresh and energized.
Vegetable Glycerin
Glycerin acts as a humectant, which means it draws moisture from the air into your hair, helping to keep it hydrated and feeling soft. It’s perfect for detangling and preventing dryness, especially during those colder months.
Aloe Vera Gel
Aloe Vera is known for its soothing and hydrating properties. It helps to calm the scalp and adds moisture to the hair without being greasy. If you’re looking for soft, healthy hair, this ingredient is a must.
Hydrolyzed Rice Protein
Hydrolyzed Rice Protein works wonders on improving hair texture and strengthening the strands. It helps to protect the hair from damage while enhancing its volume and shine, leaving your hair looking fuller and healthier.
Geogard ECT (Preservative)
To keep your DIY spray fresh and safe, Geogard ECT is used as a natural preservative. It helps protect the formula from microbial contamination and extends the shelf life, so you can enjoy your spray for longer.
Distilled Water
Distilled Water is the base of the formula. It provides hydration to the hair and helps blend all the ingredients together smoothly, making sure the spray is evenly distributed every time you use it.
Things to Remember When Using This Oil

Always dilute an essential oil when using it on the skin. This essential oil recipe is unlikely to cause skin irritation when diluted properly. If the oil has oxidized (been left with the cap off for long periods of time), it is more likely to cause skin irritation. Check out this dilution chart for diluting this essential oil properly.

If you are pregnant, consult your doctor prior to use.
